Doña, a New Yorker living in Los Angeles, was a major hit with fans as part of Albert Lee’s band last year, as well as her
own successful 26 date tour last spring. Doña’s outstanding piano skills prompted none other than Keith Richards to
shout “You’re a bitch!” as they jammed together on stage. She’s also recorded with the likes of Van Morrison and Roger

“She’s such a great performer & musician that playing alongside her is always a pleasure” – Albert Lee

Inspired to play the piano after being given a one-octave toy keyboard as a Christmas present, she was performing
publicly by age seven. Doña’s impressive performances quickly caught the eyes and ears of her contemporaries and it
wasn’t long before her keyboard & vocal talents were in demand by such luminaries as Buddy Guy, Levon Helm, Bob
Weir, Julia Fordham, Harry Shearer (Spinal Tap), Elliott Randall and her idol, former Chuck Berry sideman and
Father of Rock n Roll piano, Johnnie Johnson.

“The words extraordinary and exceptional really do apply here” – Julia Fordham

Doña has toured all over the world bringing her power house show to devoted fans across Europe, Japan, Canada and
the USA. Her new live album “Live…and Loud!!” was recorded on her recent European tour and is released November
30th. This show at The Garage is a homecoming for her guitarist James Beck who is a Swansea boy and also
regularly plays with legendary Welsh band Man.
